HOW TO REACH THE PLACE OF THE CONFERENCE?
The conference takes place in the DAB building. The Address: Thomas Mann Str,49 (4032, Debrecen, webpage: http://www.mta-dab.hu/digitalcity/domainstart/dab_hu.jsp?dom=AAAAGGXQ). You can take one of the bus lines number 31 or 32 from the railway station. The DAB building is at the 11th busstop by the number 31, and at the 13th busstop by the number 32 buses. Bus tickects can be purchased from the busdriver for 160 HUF (about 0.6 EUR).
A season ticket for a week cost 1820 HUF (about 7 EUR). It can be purchased (for example) at the railway station.
The number 31 and 32 buslines go through the city centre.
The DAB building is about five minutes away from the University by foot.
The registration is in the DAB building. This week everybody will receive information about his accomodation.

HOW TO GET TO DEBRECEN FROM FERIHEGY AIRPORT (BUDAPEST)?
You can reach Debrecen in the following way. Take a minibus to Keleti
Palyaudvar (East Rail Station, the price of this bus is around 2.200 forints
(approximately 10 Euro)).
There is a cheaper way to reach this rail station. First take the
airport bus (number 93) to the end stop at Kobanya.
Then go by the underground to Deak ter (Deak Square). It takes around 25
minutes. Here you have to change to
aother underground line, the so-called Blue line in the Ors Vezer direction and
it will take you to the Keleti P.U. (East Rail Station).
For this trip you need 3 tickets, 1 for each change (validate your ticket at each change). The price of a
ticket is around 160 forint (around 80 Euro cents).
You can buy them at the Airport at the newspapershop. At the Keleti P.U.
you have to buy a train ticket
to Debrecen. A schedule can be found at www.elvira.hu.

We are pleased to announce that the
International Conference on Algebra,
a Conference in Honor of Adalbert Bovdi's 70th Birthday
is planned for November 18-23, 2005, in the Institute of
Mathematics, at the University of Debrecen (Hungary).
In addition to an extensive program of plenary talks, several
sessions of contributed talks are planned.
The deadlines are as follows:
Registration: October 15, 2005
Abstract Submission: October 15, 2005
The registration fee of this conference is 75 EUR. This amount covers the conference abstracts and an excursion to Eger . This town is the center of one of the historic wine-growing regions of Hungary. A lunch and a visit to a wine-cellar is covered by the registartion fee.
